Meet Catherine Warren!
Catherine is the principal at Atlantic Elementary, home to our very first after-school program. Catherine is the "Face of CIS" out of our Star Line-Up, and we are so proud she is on board! Among her long list of hobbies that include running in half-marathons, swimming, cycling, traveling, and reading, dancing isn't at the top. Catherine is willing to do whatever it takes to help Communities In Schools, though. As she says, "Communities in Schools is a critical, supportive network and is responsible for delivering so many effective programs to the students at Atlantic Elementary School. I want to do my part to ensure that this organization continues to grow in Carteret County." She's afraid she miay look like a fool; we're all secretly hoping she shows up with big hair and shoulder pads for an 80s-themed dance. Nothing foolish about that, right!?
